Some of you may have noticed, since I started checking my fandom comms in a very special date :D and also leaving comments.
And some of you already knew that I had started my holidays already -via plurk-.
But anyway, I wanted to do it the proper way: I'M BACK AT LJ!!!!

Ok, ok, this took me so long, I may be the happiest person at LJ at the moment. Please, let me know if there's anything you want me to read/comment or whatever you want me to do.

I have to say, however, that I am still busy. I am leaving in a week and a half (going to Cambridge to study English), and have to do and prepare lots of things beforehand.
As a matter of fact, I went to the otolaryngologist yesterday, and he put a cam up my nose, which was rather disturbing.Apparently I have pretty small conducts, so I end up breathing through my mouth, which obviously is bad for my health, especially since I went because, due to this problem, my eardrum had been pulled inwards by the difference in air pressure. Now I have to sniff water every day and do more stuff like that. I wonder what's wrong with my body, it's worse than windows!

Anyway, I have to work hard to update all my comms and stuff, but well, at least here I am!!
How's everyone been doing?

I'll be on hiatus until I finish my most important exams T-T

The most boring are always the most important ones, I wonder why.

Anyway, I went to the ACDC concert in Madrid yesterday, so I guess I had enough fun?
And we've got European Elections tomorrow... I also have a funeral, so I won't have much time to study :(
I won't take my japanese exam in June, I'm not confident enough, but I will take it after summer holidays :) Wish me good luck?

Well, I have just finished my classes, so I will have more free time from now on... free time I should spend studying, though.
I wanted to let you guys know that my PC has recently stopped working (yeah, AGAIN), so I am back at my laptop right now.
However, I have a new netbook. But I can't get online with it yet U_U By the way, anyone can help? it says the router won't give me an IP address.
I have changed my layout thanks to dailydays . I would like to change the background, though, I don't want so much white, but I wonder what would fit...
And... new hetalia episode has CANADA in it!!! and he is so.... TRANSPARENT! xDDDD

I am going to the Feria del Libro tomorrow! I hope my father will give me some money... any book I should get? I want the first Millenium book, anyway...

Yeah, I'm still alive, even though this was a crazy week and didn't have time to check LJ that often.
Since last time, I've finished watching Shakugan no Shana.
Yesterday was a friend's b-day (happy b-day! Marta!) and we celebrated it on Friday with an international picnic made by ourselves (two ukrainian girls, a bulgarian, and 2 spanish), and I made tortilla española and tonkatsu! (which is not spanish, I know ^^U)

Anyway, since I got a suscription to animage as a very late xmas present (yay!) I wanted to share this awesome hetalia horoscope.
Though I don't understand everything maybe someone can enlighten us?

So I'll just share cultural stuff today... see? My journal is not that bad

So, I wanted to share with you a poem by... Lord Byron! Many of you will know it already, but for those who don't, what do you think? do you like it? do you think it's a normal lovey-dovey poem? a normal elegy? do you see anything weird?

But what people would not believe is...

it is a story that hides a secret love: a true story.

Thing is, he never said so, they asked them lots of times who Thyrza was, but still he wouldn't answer...
So how do we know?
Cause hell yes he wrote letters and his fans kept them xDDD


This all began at Cambridge University (random: I'm going there this summer!), where he entered in 1805. It was his first year at Trinity College, and he met a rather cute choirboy called John Edleston, and almost inmediately became too attached to him.
History tells us that one year after this happened, Edleston gave him a red stone with the shape of a heart. Around that time, Byron wrote "The Cornelian", which is the name of the stone.

Let's check some of his letters:

SO, he was thinking of living together? that's so cute, especially in such a time... *____*
Then, what happened to this beautiful and pure love story? Because Lord Byron is known for being with too many women, right? So wth did happen then?
Well, Byron went to Malta, the place where people wanna go with the ERASMUS program, just because it's party 24-hours, and spent a while there, you know, it was difficult to travel and so on. Then he came back to England in July, 1811, just to find his mother dying. She passed away in August. He lost three more young friends around that time.
He couldn't get in touch with Edleston, and he never saw him again. In October he received a letter from Edleston's sister, telling him John had died in May. 

The letters from that time are very sad, I'm telling you:

That's like, very sad, ne?
Apparently Byron got a ring from Edleston and wore it for 13 years after his death. He later said that their realtionship had been "a violent, though pure love and passion"...
