So, in case you didn't know, Tsuritama ended today, and I can't do anything right now, cause I'm busy being in love with Tsuritama all around the house. I already wrote an entry about Tsuritama, in case you haven't seen it, it's here. I put some caps instead of the video cause Youtube took it down U_U

I'm so happy I pre-ordered the DVDs!!! Yaaay

Well, since I can't do anything right now cause I'm too excited, I decided to make a post with my favourite Tsuritama gifs.
I found them on Tumblr, and reblogged them there, but I feel like they will be lost in time or something like that, so I decided to put them all together in some site where I could see them. This LJ I want to bring back to life looks like a good option!

Let's start with the opening you know I love!

Awesome gifs under the cutCollapse )

And well, I guess that's all for now, hope everyone enjoyed the series too :)
Will post another entry soon, promised!

I terribly miss Japan and the people there U_U
Also being able to buy manga easily.
But well, now it's time to find a job so I can go back next year, and this time as a tourist, so I can use the always awesome JR Pass!
Cause I wanna travel! Go to Nikko, Mount Fuji, Hiroshima, Kyoto, Nara, and of course, Okinawa. Yeah, I know I'll need more than one trip for all that.

Since I cannot keep track of the new manga any more, I am trying with anime.
And that's why I decided to watch four of the new series this season.
Something that I've never done before, btw.
I only follow one or two series while they are airing, and I watch anything else after they are already over.
But this time, there are four that I find really insteresting, so I'm gonna give it a go and try to watch them every week (plus HBO's Game of Thrones). That will keep me busy for a while.

The series I'm talking about are:

Sakamichi no Apollon

Kimi to Boku 2

So what do you think? And what are you going to watch this Spring?

I just wanted to let everyone know that I got back to Spain and I am safe and sound, though a bit sick after the long trip.
My flight was changed, so I ended up in Finland instead of London.
The trip was faster and cheaper that way, but I still prefer flying with JAL, rather than Finnair.

Seeing Finland was quite awesome anyway, especially cause the airport was covered in snow.
Well, everything was, actually, cause it had been snowing quite a lot during the previous day.

Actually, it had been snowing quite a lot in Tokyo too, when I left. So it was very nice and pretty too.

In other news, I've become a fan of HetaOni.
And it all started when I watched these vids...

Be careful if you don't like terribly sad and depressing stories.
So of course, after watching those videos I was amazed and wanted to know what HetaOni was really about. And ended up watching all the HetaOni "game" videos and the animations, which took almost 24 hours.
The result is I was deeply impressed (and moved) by the story, and the fact that a fan created all of that.

And I decided I want to translate it into Spanish xDD

Already talked to someone who is going to sub the vids, so I'll keep you updated!

Though I am sick, stressed and too busy!

I have taken 15 exams in less than one week D:

I am dying!

Our new comm, fsf_scanlations, is doing well.
My blog even better. My entry about Yokozawa no baai has been the most visited in my blog's history, there is a big difference. I am also glad to say that the second most visited entry is the one about Kisa no baai :D

I'm happy seeing that so many people like Kisa. Even in my blog's survey, the most voted couple is YukinaxKisa, with a 45%. Go, Kisa!

By the way, I was re-reading Junjo Romantica and found this!

I have neglected my own journal so badly... but I've been trying to follow SH and No.6 comms at least.
The reason is, when I'm not at uni or doing my homework, I'm actually taking care of my BL blog in Spanish.

And now, since I got some friends interested in scanlating BL or BL-related stuff, we created a new community at LJ for our scanlation group:
Feel free to join, cause it's Friends Only!
But, oh yeah, remember it's all in Spanish too

If you visit these sites, you will notice we are pretty much obsessed with a new series called Boku no Chopin.
It's not really that new, actually... not as new as Love Stage, anyway.
But for someone like me who has been interested in Chopin and Liszt's relationship since I heard about them in one of my piano lessons (I studied music for 10 years, in case no one knew around here...), this is something I had been wanting to find for a long while now (oh, and if anyone knows about any good manga about Oscar Wilde or Lord Byron, I would be very interested too). Also, for some reason I really like Chopin, probably because I have small hands and I always enjoyed the melody... I even had the chance to hold a music sheet handwritten by Chopin himself! I was so moved, someone that owned such an important item brought it to class to let us see it, and I was able to hold it!!
Well, going back to the manga... Let me tell you my high expectactions met no disappointment in Boku no Chopin, though I was worried at first because... it's a seinen manga. Not shonen-ai. Seinen. Who thought it was a nice idea to have this in the seinen manga section? How can we ladies find it there? What the hell were they thinking?

Do these characters look like seinen manga characters? From left to right you have Chopin, Liszt, Schumann and Mendelssohn. Yeah, I know they are much cuter than the original ones. I really LOVE them.

There's so much cuteness in this manga, really, that it's sometimes overwhelming. And the fact that it's trying to be historical... I really like that aspect. Every chapter has a comment explaining the historical facts the chapter is based on. Of course, we don't know every little thing that happened, but imagination can do the rest!

I don't want to spam your flists with too many pics, but if you want to see more, you can see many pics at my blog here.
And if you can read Spanish, you have the first chapter at fsf_scanlations.
If you can read Japanese, you can read it here.
If you can only read English, I don't know about any scanlations... sorry...
I can tell you what happens, but I don't think I would be able to do an English scanlation myself...

At last, I am posting the fanfic I translated. There should be a degree called fanfics and how to post them xDDD
I mean, like something official.
I don't care much about titles, so I'm gonna call it The Red Snake, cause I may upload it to my dA too and it has to be short. And it helps me remember what episode it belongs to.

Title: The Red Snake
Author: hamykia
Rating: NC-18
Warnings/Spoilers: Spoilers for the first three episodes of NO.6.
Pairing: NezuShi? ShiNezu? I don't even know.
Summary: After seeing the red marks on his skin, Shion is comforted by Nezumi, but he can't hide his reaction and well, you know what it means.

Notes: Thanks to analineblue for correcting my English ^_^ In case you wanna read the original, which was a birthday present for violet_sounds (so I wrote it in Spanish), you can do it here at my dA.

If you really want to read it, go ahead Collapse )

Well, it's normal since I've been hearing it everywhere today, but even though I've just seen the ending twice, I already knew it, cause it's so catchy!

And I am a youtuber, as you know, so I found some other videos (that actually belong to niconico but oh well) I thought were pretty amazing, like these girls dancing the Ending:

I am very impressed!

And yeah, though I liked that performance, I have always had a thing for Japanese fanboys, so I feel it's my duty to spread this very amazing video:

This is all the same guy singing the Ending Song's full version, dubbing the six of them.

I really love it when they do things like these!

And going back to No. 6... anyone else is thinking there are too many similarities with A Happy Prince by Oscar Wilde?

Like, some kid who lived his life in his castle and never saw the true suffering beyond those walls, then there's an animal that helps him and so on and so forth...  Please, don't comment if you already know, I don't want any spoilers!

I just felt I really wanted to share this AMV I found
Watch it if you've seen eps 1-4
Or if you do not intend to see No. 6 at all... Maybe you can be convinced...

Just found this other video with a very fitting song:

Last month I went to a cosplay convention in Odaiba with amyused and imma_holiday, and I took some pics, so I thought I should share them ;)

Double Yukina/Kisa from Sekaiichi Hatsukoi. The Yukina on the left was so awesome! xD

amyused and imma_holiday being kakkoii. One of my Japanese friends is your fan now xDD

Kiki! It was nice to know there are Ghibli Cosplayers too!
